"Excellent experience"

Newton Costa, student from Angola

In one sentence, it was an excellent experience. The school is very well organized, in terms of class arrangement and the teacher's qualification.

The location, facilities are perfect. They should have more activities in order for students to have more contact with English in real life.

About housing, It should have more diversity of food. The lunch is not that good and a bit expensive for students.

School location

LAL Cape Town offers the perfect combination of affordability, location, safety, quality of learning, experience and language immersion.

Why study English in Cape Town?

A beautiful, cosmopolitan city on the tip of Africa, Cape Town offers a unique language-learning experience combined with the opportunity to meet and mingle with South Africans and others, practicing English in a variety of contexts and environments. Our destination offers so much: from white sandy beaches to ancient sandstone mountains, award-winning restaurants and wine farms, history, art, night life, adventure everywhere and breath-taking nature.

Study at our beautiful, state-of-the-art school, equipped for teaching in the technological age while living in one of our two residences a short walk away. Ideally located in the popular Sea Point suburb, our location offers the opportunity to live and study in a cosmopolitan area where people work, live and play - ideal for a rewarding learning experience.

Our Sea Point Student Residence is about 17 minutes' walk from our school, and offers dormitories, twin and single rooms, with the option of ensuite bathrooms, along with a garden and barbeque area, swimming pool, communal kitchen and dining area.

Our more upmarket Milton Road Student House is located right next door to the school, and offers single and twin accommodation in a more intimate atmosphere, with an outdoor area and barbecue, communal kitchen and dining area.

Our teachers are native English speakers from Cape Town and South Africa, and part of our methodology is to teach English inside and outside the classroom - experiencing English in Real Life, along with meaningful learning activities.

We also offer a booking service for activities and excursions on offer in the city and region, using only registered and accredited tour operators.

We're looking forward to welcoming you to our amazing school and city!

Ask a question

"Do you have any babysitting services or any indications?"

Neide Tavares, student from Angola

As for a babysitter, I would recommend the child to stay in a crèche we can recommend some options around the school.

Was this helpful? Yes

"I’m trying to apply for your English course but the price is quite high and not understandable, I just want to know how do u calculate, do u multiple the course depending the time? Like weeks, months or days? Yes and no and if yes which one?"

Miguel Kassela, student from Angola
Shaun, LAL Languages Centres school representative (Regional Sales Manager)

Yes, you multiply the weekly fee by the number of weeks. As far as I can see, Language International does all of that for you - you out in the number of weeks, the course you want and it tells you the cost.
