On their first day, students are tested and assigned to an English class based on their level. Students follow a carefully designed curriculum that stresses all English skills including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and vocabulary.

This program starts weekly from June-August for ages 8-18. Program fee includes: Morning Practical English classes Monday-Friday.

This program combines 10 weeks of Practical ESL at IGK with a 2 week high school experience at Studio 9 school of the Arts. Studio 9 features small class sizes (12 to 17 students) and less than 5% international students! Enjoy meeting interacting, and learning with international and Canadian students.

International high school students can get a leg-up with this program, which enables them to learn English, meet friends from around the world, and experience Vancouver at the same time. An exciting and action-packed program that caters to teenage students who wish to improve their English, broaden their vision by making friends from around the world, and explore the most popular tourist destinations that Vancouver has to offer over winter or summer break.
