IH Vancouver is pleased to offer activity-based ESL junior programs to students ages 13-17 with all levels of English ability.
These programs are ESL focused and students have classes in all of the major language skill areas.
On their first day, students are tested and assigned to an English class based on their level. Students follow a carefully designed curriculum that stresses all English skills including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and vocabulary.

This program combines 10 weeks of Practical ESL at IGK with a 2 week high school experience at Studio 9 school of the Arts.
Studio 9 features small class sizes (12 to 17 students) and less than 5% international students!

High School Academic Preparation is a program designed to help prepare students to meet academic challenges they will face in Canadian high schools. The program includes academic writing, grammar review, academic speaking and listening, academic study skills, presentation skills, and research skills.
The High School Bridge Program is to assist students in preparing to study in Canadian High Schools. Students develop their overall English ability along with practicing doing math, social studies, science and language arts in English.
