Gothenburg is a beautiful city in Sweden, known for its array of charming parks and gardens. Founded in 1621 by King Gustavus Adolphus, it rests on the southwest coast of Sweden. The Gota river runs directly through the city. With a large student population due to the University of Gothenburg and the Chalmers University of Technology, students taking Swedish courses in Gothenburg will feel right at home.
