TIEP at Lamar offers full-time programs of intensive English study year-round, as well as custom-designed programs for groups and individuals.

TIEP is a nonprofit educational organization and is a division of the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC), an Association of 32 Texas Public Universities for International Education. TIEC’s activities are governed by the presidents of its affiliated universities who serve as the Board of Directors.

TIEP has helped more than 30,000 students and professionals from 131 countries to achieve their goals. The program accepts individuals who are 17 years of age or older (except for customized group programs). TOEFL is not required for admission.

I had a a wonderful professor. Because of her we improved our language. She used to make students involve in the class by conducting activities like seminars conducting exams.
