LTL Mandarin School Shanghai offers much more than language classes. Located in one of China’s most vibrant and international cities, our school provides an authentic gateway to Chinese language, culture and everyday life. Our 1-on-1 and Small Group Chinese classes are designed for students who want to build real Mandarin skills while experiencing Shanghai beyond the classroom.

For a deeper immersion experience, students can stay with a local Chinese host family, giving them the opportunity to practice Mandarin every day and gain a genuine insight into modern life in Shanghai.

Learning continues outside the classroom through cultural activities and student events, from Chinese cooking and calligraphy to exploring local restaurants, traditional neighborhoods and some of Shanghai’s most iconic sights. "Friendly, supportive tuition in small groups"

The school nurtures students in small groups. There’s a welcoming atmosphere. The teachers are thorough and diligent but in a supportive manner. They have good energy and engage well with the students. Support continues on WeChat groups. I didn’t take long to integrate, despite the disparity in age: I’m 67, my classmates were 28 and 18. I learned a lot and hope to return some day.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
