La Encina is located in a luxurious community with 10,500 m² of green zones, SWIMMING POOL, and SPORT FACILITIES, that our enrolled students can use FOR FREE. We offer Spanish intensive courses, DELE preparation courses, conversation classes, private programs (we can make a tailor-made program for small groups, elderly people, families, etc.) and school camps (not available for individuals). All our programs can be combined with cultural and athletic activities, as well as excursions to famous sites in Spain.
It only takes 10 minutes from Salamanca city center and our shuttle bus makes the journey from Salamanca to La Encina and back several times a day (10€/week You can book it in advance or once you arrive).
La Encina has eight classrooms used for the Spanish courses, with others rooms that are specially equipped for practicing sports and art activities, a library, a play center a multimedia room and an outdoor swimming pool.
Also, to best accommodate your experience at our school, we have our own kitchen and a canteen that offers a special menu every day of traditional, home-cooked meals (6€/lunch You can book it in advance, or once you arrive).

Salamanca is renowned for being the academic capital of the Spanish language and the city offers a wide cultural offering all year round. It is a UNESCO World Heritage City and is home to the oldest founded university in Spain. It only takes two hours from Madrid and we are close to other famous cities like Toledo, Ávila… and border with Portugal.
Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 8 - 18. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about student residence accommodation

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 25 € when you register.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Salamanca based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
