The Jeddah Cultural Exchange Company is a newly established organization geared for presenting the Saudi culture through various cultural packages carefully designed to meet the specific needs of visitors to the Kingdom and locals alike. Our goals are to create bridges between visitors and residents or short-term guest to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the local peoples through various cultural activities. We engage in different cultural programs with appropriate information regarding the Kingdom’s people, places, customs, and traditions, so as to enlighten them towards the historical background and contributions of the Arab civilization to the modern world.
In response to the dire need of the expatriate community to learn the Arabic language, the Cultural Exchange Center in Jeddah is proud to announce the beginning of the “Arabic for non-Arabs” language courses.
Our students have a wide variety of reasons for wanting to learn Arabic: for work, travel or trade, or purely for the challenge of studying such a rich and varied language. If you choose to learn Arabic with our Arabic courses at our center in Jeddah, you’ll be studying one of the six official languages of the UN, spoken by 220 million people living in 22 Arab countries.
Our approach is to immerse you in the Arabic language from the very first day. We use an interactive method and you will be expected to participate in classroom activity through the use of spoken Arabic, however, limited that might be at the beginning.
The emphasis is on the practical aspects of the language, and the aim at each level is to enable you to acquire an understanding of, and familiarity with, grammatical structures and to build vocabulary in a communicative context in class, to be reinforced through self-study and homework assignments.
The Cultural Exchange Center introduces a new method for learning the Arabic language. Specially designed courses are given with the sole purpose of equipping the learner with the basics of everyday scenarios hence enabling him/her to set out and interact with the local environment.
I CAN TALK ARABIC (ICTA) has a wide variety of courses that make it an ideal location to study Arabic. The center follows the European framework in learning languages. Students take an assessment test to specify their level.
