Our Italian native speaker teachers use the most modern teaching methods putting the student at the center of the lesson. The communicative way helps improve communicative skills with exercises in pairs and in groups. The school is located in the city center and it is easy to reach with public transport (subway) and it is close to the central station to eventually start day trips in the afternoon. The fitness center located opposite the school offers special rates for our students.

Home Language International (HLI) is a family-run business offering language courses in more than 20 languages in over 30 countries worldwide, including Italian lessons at an experienced private teacher's home in Italy. More than 5,000 students take advantage of our services every year. Ian Josephs, Danielle Josephs, their 5 adult children and an expert team of dedicated staff all put in very long hours for HLI. You stay in an experienced teacher's family home, have one-to-one Italian lessons and then continue to use the language during the rest of your stay in Naples. Because you are the only student, you are guaranteed individual attention. The lessons are completely designed for you, so the teacher will focus exactly on what you need. Mealtime conversation, television and social contacts are all in Italian. All of our teachers in Italy have a university degree (or equivalent) and/or a recognised teaching certificate. All teachers have been visited by one of our local organisers. Their qualifications have been checked and their homes throughly inspected. During your stay in Naples, a local organiser will monitor your progress and make sure your experience is both happy and successful. Home Language International (HLI) is accredited by the Accreditation Body for Language Services (ABLS), Association of Language Travel Organisations (ALTO), and UNOSEL.

NaCLIPS - Italian Culture and Language For Foreigners in Naples promotes the development and teaching of Italian language and culture through its educational and cultural activities. Learning a new language does not only mean learning to reproduce the sounds and get to know the grammar, but to gain full mastery and awareness. Our highly qualified teachers are able to offer an all-encompassing and meaningful teaching experience that focuses on both the grammatical and the cultural aspects in a young and welcoming context. NaCLIPS uses a communicative-situational method. The student has an active role in learning and the task of the teacher is to help him to develop above all the communicative competence, besides the linguistic competence. The training path will resemble that of an Italian mother tongue, focusing on the most common situations to allow the student to immediately practice the language! The school is located in Corso Umberto I 293, that is one of the most famous avenue in the city centre, as it links the railway station to the historical centre. Nearby there are plenty of bar, pizzerie and restaurants. We're close to the Garibaldi railway station (the central station of the city) and the Duomo metro 1 station. You can reach them by feet, as well as the harbor and the historical centre. Just perfect! NaCLIPS is in a beautiful and newly renovated building, staircase A 4° floor with elevator. Our venue is very bright and provided with big windows. You can find a hall with the secretary station and 5 classrooms, including a big salon with 3 balconies as common area for the students. They can stop there to study, chat, have a tea and relax. We also organize seminars and activities. Each classroom is provided with tables, chairs, whiteboards, air conditioning, fans, balconies. All the classrooms are very bright and with tall ceilings. ***On national holidays, the school does not guarantee that lessons will take place but reserves the right to propose, as an alternative, guided tours of the city included in the price. ***
