Institut Francophonie is located in the heart of Nantes, a few steps from the tourist sites. The excellent location of the school and its wide variety of courses make it an ideal place to study French: students can choose between general French courses, exam preparation or professional courses, and can choose between a few lessons per week (6 hours) and intensive courses (15 hours per week). Group classes are limited to 12 students to allow everyone to practice their oral French a maximum in class. In addition, students have homework to improve their written part, vocabulary, grammar, etc. Private lessons are totally "à la carte" and can last from one to three hours. The Francophonie Institute has a study center with free Internet access and self-learning materials, a library and a student lounge. The school offers a weekly calendar of social, cultural and recreational activities inviting students to practice their French while visiting popular places of interest in and around the city and meeting other students.
