Hove is a town located on the south coast of England. Together with its larger neighbor, Brighton, it forms the unitary authority, Brighton and Hove. Students enrolled in English school in Hove should be sure to visit the Hove Museum and Art Gallery. There, one can learn about Hove and the surrounding area since prehistoric times. Other exhibits include a large collection of toys, a collection of film in the film gallery, a fine art collection, and one of the leading contemporary craft galleries. The museum building is a 19th century Italianate Victorian villa that was formerly known as Brooker Hall. Students might enjoy spending some time in St. Ann’s Well Gardens. It is located near the Hove seafront and offers a lovely shady setting for relaxing, playing tennis or fishing at the stocked pond. Hove Park is another popular green space. It covers almost 40 acres of land and features a café, a miniature steam railway, tennis courts, a basketball court and more. Local love to use Hove Park for its walking and jogging trails. Students taking English courses in Hove should be sure to explore the Brighton Pier. It is home to a number of food places, the Palace of Fun arcade, and various fairground attractions. The seafront clubs come alive in the evening, offering a variety of choices to visitors. Students will find that the Brighton and Hove area plays host to a variety of festivals throughout the year, including the biggest arts festival in all of Britain called simply, the Brighton Festival.
An intensive course incorporating dedicated speaking and listening modules throughout the week to build
on your morning tuition, allowing maximum progress in your group studies. Classes will be in the morning Monday to Friday and in the afternoon Monday to Thursday (Friday afternoon - no lessons)
Afternoon Skills classes are designed as a supplementary course in addition to morning classes (which are booked based).
You study 20 lessons every week following BLC’s curriculum of focused language training. A great choice if you want to have free time in the afternoon to enjoy your time in Brighton, see the sights or socialise with your new friends from BLC.
Our General English 20 + Skills Focus 6 course combines morning group tuition plus 2 afternoon sessions of 2 hours & 15 minutes concentrating on speaking and listening skills.

The LSI Intensive 30 Course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay.
The Standard General English course takes place throughout the year and students may join this course on any Monday. The morning is divided into two parts and two teachers usually share the class.
This course is for students who have a basic knowledge of the English language. The courses focus on grammar, reading, as well as speaking and writing about everyday topics.
Designed to satisfy those students who have a passion for sports, this course lasts one or two weeks during which students will learn English, practise sports, make new friends and grow in confidence and self-belief.
Students can choose from a variety of sports and activities during their stay, combining their English lessons with coaching in the following: Golf, Tennis, Horse Riding, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket and Rugby, for an unforgettable experience!
