Standard German courses

The language academy Alpha Aktiv specializes in German courses and it has much expertise in the field of intensive courses. We offer German courses at all levels of the Common European Framework (CEF), from beginners level A1 to the almost fluent level C2.

This course features: 20 Lessons per week (4 lessons per day),1 lesson: 50 minutes, hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes (20 clock hrs/wk in the usa), 15 students max. per class, course length: 1-50 weeks age 16+.

If you are not an absolute beginner and improving on your oral German skills is vital for you, our intensive course 26 might be the perfect choice. In these group classes you will take part in our standard class from 9.

You would like to explore Berlin, meet new people from all over the world and learn German with them? Then our standard course "General German" is the perfect choice for you! You will study in a lively and relaxed atmosphere; and have lots of fun! Your classes will be held in the mornings from 9.30 to 12.

Our Standard 20 courses are an excellent choice if you want to improve your general linguistic communication skills and still have free time on your hands. Classes usually take place in the morning, so that you can make the most of your time off in the afternoon and take part in the activities that the school offers.

Intensive 25 25 lessons per week Using various dynamic teaching methods, this course offers an intensive and in-depth study of the German language with five additional weekly lessons dedicated to oral communication. The minimum duration for A1* absolute beginners is two weeks.

The INTENSIVE course differs from the standard course because of its fast work pace and further investigation into subjects with a more communicative and relaxed approach with optional topics and conversation. The 5 additional lessons per week mainly focus on oral communication.

Our STANDARD course is an excellent choice if you want to improve your language skills and to have free time on your hands. Classes normally take place in the morning, which means that you can make the most of your time off in the afternoon to visit the city and take part in the activities or outings that the school offers.

This course is designed for students who wish to combine a group course with private lessons in order to fill their knowledge gaps or acquire a deeper knowledge of some difficult points. Taking extra private lessons is an excellent way of intensifying oral communication exercises outside a group.

For students who wish to enhance their communicative skills, this course offers more that just grammer and conversation. Delve into life in Germany, learn how to cope with everyday tasks like shopping, using community services, the usual life and interaction with locals, writing official and inofficial letters, banking and enjoying the spcific culture of the region, whether food, concerts or theater.

This course is for all learners that want to improve their general German language. Course levels from A1 to C1 are available.

If you have been in Germany for a long time, you usually already have some initial knowledge. It goes without saying that you do not attend a beginner's course in this case.

From Monday to Friday, each morning, during 4 lessons of 45 minutes, you will attend a German course. The course can be booked as individual or group lesson.
