Unlike the Standard Course, the Intensive Course also provides enough time to work on current topics from politics, culture and science. Hence, the 4 language skills listening, reading, speaking and writing will not only be trained based on a textbook but the teachers also use supplementary, specially selected materials.

The Standard Course focuses on learning and actively using language structures – this way the instruction is very much practice oriented. But what does this actually mean? Your teacher will assign you an active role while studying German and will draw you and your fellow students directly into his interactive instruction.

The additional lessons give one the opportunity to focus further on various aspects and contexts of the language - and still have time for the afternoon leisure activities! Intensive German Course: 25 lessons per week* Monday to Friday, 9:30AM - 2:00PM (or 1:15PM - 6:00PM in high season) In the Intensive Course you will also develop the skills provided by our Standard Course with an additional special focus on communication. Standard German Course: 20 lessons per week* Monday to Friday, 9:30AM - 1:00PM (or 2:30PM - 6:00PM in high season) The Standard Course offers speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in small groups of maximum 10 participants (12 in high season)

This intensive German course consists of 26 lessons per week for general language from 9:00-12:30 and two 3 unit lessons of conversation in the afternoon. The course is available throughout the year for German learners of all levels.

It differs from our other course options – Standard and Intensive Course – in so far as with 28 lessons per week the Premium Course gives far more opportunities for considering personal requests and demands.

You will take part in the Standard Course and additionally receive one-to-one private lessons where you will practice your German intensively and where you and your teacher can focus on your specific individual requirements. This course consists of 20 Standard German lessons and 5 one-to-one lessons per week.

Mini-Group Course is available only from September until June (not in July and August)

20 hours of group tuition plus ten hours of private tuition per week with your own teacher. This gives you the opportunity to cover special topics and areas of interest to you, for example just conversation, business German, aspects of specific fields, preparation for examinations, etc.

Timetable: The course takes place daily, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m.
