French courses for adults

A great and complete program to help you develop or perfect your ability to read, write, speak, and understand French. The program is a blend of French classes with a lot of interactions and conversation workshops.

Individual lessons can start at any time of the year. The schedule is available between 8:00 a.

As well as covering the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening), grammar and vocabulary in a student centered and communicative setting, you will have the chance to develop both your fluency and accuracy through daily workshops designed to reinforce and the language you studied in the morning. You will need to purchase a textbook (English $30, French $50) upon arrival.

For students who want to take their language learning to the next level, this option builds on the daily skills and language focus with an opportunity to develop in specific areas. Through a combination of Task Based Learning and traditional skills lessons, you will be a part of a class with a specific goal in mind where all areas of language use are activated naturally and effectively.

Super Intensive classes go even further! Here you will work closely with your teacher in smaller groups to help you reach your goals outside of the school environment. You might be learning Transferable Skills such as how to deliver an effective and engaging presentation, or furthering your career by studying International Business English or Exam Preparation; with the Super Intensive package, you are learning more than simply French! You will need to purchase a textbook (English $30, French $50) upon arrival.

Through a combination of Task Based Learning and traditional skills lessons, you will be a part of a class with a specific goal in mind where all areas of language use are activated naturally and effectively.

Whether you need general or specialized language, each course is designed for your needs and adapted to your rate of progress.

Course Overview includes: • 30 lessons per week (6 lessons per day) • Duration: 30 x 50 minutes (25 hours per week) • 15 students max. per class • Beginner to Advanced levels • Course length: 1–23 weeks • Age 16+ The LSI Intensive 30 Course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay.

Course Overview includes: • 20 lessons per week (4 lessons per day) • Duration: 20 x 50 minutes • 15 students max. per class • Beginner to Advanced levels • Course length: 1–50 weeks • Age 16+ During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations.

The Standard French course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension.

The Intensive French course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction and 10 lessons of oral instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic...

This course is designed for students who stay over 8 weeks, but it is also suitable for the others.
