If you want to learn English in Cape Town, then we would like to welcome you to the Language Teaching Centre, LTC. The General English Intensive Course is for student who want to learn English fast.

Similar to General English 20 but with an extra 10 fluency lessons per week. The course teaches English for everyday life – conversational skills, grammar structures and vocabulary.

Similar to English Mini Group 20 but with an extra 10 fluency lessons per week. Only 6 students in this class means that you will benefit from much more speaking practice and attention.

Course Overview includes: • 10 lessons per week (2 lessons per day) • Duration: 10 x 50 minutes (8.34 hours per week) • 15 students max.

This course focuses on one of the following subjects : Conversational English / Business English / Exam Preparation. This course features: 10 lessons per week, 1 lesson: 50 minutes, 15 students maximum per class, ages 16+ This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation in a language.

Course Overview includes: • Morning General 20 in mixed age classes • Afternoon activities: 3 p/wk • Course duration: 1–4 wks • Minimum age: 40 • Elementary to Advanced levels Example activities include: winery visits, rain forest excursions, Maori weaving, boat trips, theatre visits, Kensington Palace. At LSI we welcome mature students of all ages, who are “young at heart” on all our courses throughout the year.

Whether you need general or specialised language, each course is entirely tailored to your needs and adapted to your rate of progress.
