If you want to Study English in Cape Town, we would like to welcome you to the Language Teaching Centre, LTC. The General English Course is ideal if you want to improve your everyday communication skills and you prefer to study in a class with other students.

The General English course is for all levels. The Avenue English guarantee ensures that if all classes are attended, homework completed on a daily basis and weekly tests submitted the student will improve their English language capabilities in the time that they are with us.

The General English Plus course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay. The morning group classes stress the use of language in everyday situations.

IH Johannesburg specialises in teaching English as a foreign language to students from all over the world. Classes run from Monday to Friday and cover all levels from beginner to advanced.

Private Lessons are specifically designed for candidates who prefer one on one interaction and cannot attend full time classes. The candidate briefs the teacher on which he/she would like to learn and the teacher structures the lessons accordingly.

Standard English is perfect for students who are looking for a course that helps them use English more accurately and fluently in a variety of contexts. One-to-One tuition is the ultimate course for making maximum progress during a short period of time. This is an intensive course which is 100% focused on your English language needs and designed by your teachers to meet your requirements.

The General English course will cover the four main skills you need to write and speak English (reading, writing, listening and speaking), with an emphasis on practical communication in common situations, such as travelling, shopping, and leisure time. The course includes 20 lessons (15 hours) per week.

This course includes 30 lessons per week (22.5 hours).
