General English courses include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course combines 10 hour General English (GE) course with a 5 hour per week Personal Study Programme (PSP) class.

Our General English course focuses on English for everyday use. It aims to improve your communication and covers all four skill areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking as well as pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.

All grammar points and functions included in the syllabus are taught communicatively, ensuring students can thrive in an English-speaking environment. Outdoor learning is also promoted as part of the curriculum, supporting students in applying what they have learned to real-life, everyday situations.

A Home Language International immersion course means you live the language you are learning and is the fastest, most natural way to learn. You are staying in your teacher’s home, have one-to-one language lessons and continue to use and practise your language skills sharing the daily life of your teacher’s family during meals, conversations, visits and activities as they all take place in the language you are studying.
