Year-round English courses for children and teenagers in Malta

Precisely for this reason, Gateway School of English, itself a family-run establishment, offers a course of study that allows parents to bring their young children along with them to learn English, using facilities on the premises that ensure a flexible and enjoyable stay.

Gateway School of English offers all year round Junior Programmes for students aged between 11 and 17 years. We offer group programmes as well as programmes for individual students who do not wish to travel with a group.

This preparation course is a specialised content based Language Course for International Students. The course aims to develop students’ academic English Language Proficiency enabling a smooth transition and entry into local schools.

Minimum stay: one week This young learner programme is set in the northern coast of Malta, with accommodation at a hotel in Qawra or St. Paul's Bay.

Students in the 3 to 5 year age group have their lessons in their own specially set up ‘Kids Zone’ classroom. Their multisensory English lessons are with a qualified EFL teacher.

This programme has been specially designed for parents who would also like to have their children on a Junior course at the same time within the same school building. It combines 20 lessons of English per week (3 hours per day).

The perfect course for those children who need to improve their English both in a group and one-to-one session. The benefit of the added one-to-one session is that the teacher can really focus on the child's linguistic needs and help them practice the skills required to communicate effectively.
