About the IELTS examination: Students that wish to study in a UK university will need to prove their English level is good enough to succeed on their course. Universities base their decision to accept an international student on certain conditions, one being that the prospective student achieves the IELTS band that is necessary for the course they have applied for.

IELTS Preparation Skills (Part-time elective) IELTS is an internationally-recognised English language exam. Most of our students who follow one of our IELTS exam preparation courses go on to complete an undergraduate or postgraduate course at university in the UK or another English-speaking country.

Our General English courses are designed to meet the needs of learners in a variety of English-language settings and aim to bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world. In classes with a maximum of just 10 students, you will follow an integrated skills programme which covers reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
