Students in this class will receive strategy and skills that have been proven successful in achieving the high scores necessary for admission to university-level programs.

In addition to classroom introduction, MLI regularly makes use of the computer lab at each campus in order to provide students with a more authentic iBT TOEFL experience.

TThe TOEFL iBT® class prepares students for the TOEFL iBT test by presenting and practicing strategies to help them improve their reading, vocabulary, listening, speaking and writing skills. In addition, students are given practice in critical thinking and note taking skills.

Our TOEFL program is a 12-week intensive course designed to help students achieve their target score with confidence. The program reviews the test structure, all four skill areas (reading, listening, speaking, and writing), and introduces proven test-taking strategies.

Our Exam Preparation and Pathway to College Programs help students improve their overall English proficiency in our General English courses while practicing the skills necessary to succeed on the exam and in college in upgraded Elective classes. By upgrading any General Elective Course to a Premium Elective students will have the chance to participate in one of these special programs and take 6 hours per week of elective courses focused on exam preparation, Business English or a Pathway to College!
