With Home and School English, enjoy group classes each morning at LSI School in Bloomsbury in the heart of London, followed by personalised afternoon lessons in the welcoming home of your Home Language International tutor.

For those who want more than just a classroom. Fast-track your English! Combine 20 engaging morning classes at LSI School with 10 hours of personalised, one-to-one tuition in your Host Tutor’s home.

Course details:
• English level required: Minimum A2
• Course length: Minimum 2 weeks
• Minimum age: 16
• Lessons per week: 20 (16 hours 40 minutes) and 10 hours one-to-one with your private Host Tutor
• Time: 09:15-13:00 (Mon-Fri mornings at LSI London)

Start dates:
Every Monday (except bank holidays)

What to Expect:
• Collaborate with classmates through interactive activities like role-plays, pair work, and lively group discussions.
• Learn and reinforce new language daily, with opportunities to review and practise in meaningful ways.
• Receive regular homework to strengthen your understanding and help you retain what you’ve learned.

Your personalised one-to-one afternoon sessions are the perfect opportunity to build on what you’ve learned in the morning.

With your Host Tutor, you will receive 5 hours of lessons and 5 hours of activities designed to develop your fluency and expand your vocabulary.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
