Summer German classes for teenagers
Our German course for teenagers in the summer includes 20 lessons per week and runs from Monday to Friday. The students have 4 lessons every day in the morning and in the afternoon they explore Nuremberg and the surrounding area with our supervisors.
The German course includes training in skills such as speaking, writing, reading and listening comprehension. Our qualified teachers prepare the various topics for discussion depending on the language level of the students. They encourage them to actively participate in German lessons and break the language barrier. The students not only learn grammar and sentence construction, but also talk about interesting facts about the country and its people.
Our German courses are divided according to the level of the students. The course participants write a placement test, which we send by email before arrival.
The summer program runs from June 29 to July 26, 2025. You can join at any time. You can book for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks.

Living with a host family
In Nuremberg, our students can live with a host family in the summer.
Our host families are carefully selected, are very friendly and look forward to welcoming you.
You will usually live in a two or three-bed room with full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner).
It is also possible to book the program without accommodation.
Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying German in Nürnberg. These homes are often between 10 - 35 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Nürnberg based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
Study abroad worry-free with Language International's health and personal effects insurance coverage.
