Iguana Abroad offers Spanish immersion programs in Cuernavaca, Mexico, that combine classroom learning with cultural experiences and opportunities to discover Mexican life.

Located in Cuernavaca, the capital of Morelos known as the City of Eternal Spring, Iguana Abroad provides an opportunity to learn Spanish in an authentic Mexican setting. The city's authenticity, perfect climate, welcoming atmosphere and proximity to Mexico City, historic towns and beautiful natural landscapes make it a truly amazing destination for Spanish language study.

Mexican Homestay Accommodation in Cuernavaca, Mexico

Experience Mexican culture beyond the classroom by staying with a local host family during your Spanish immersion program with Iguana Abroad. A homestay offers an opportunity to practice Spanish in everyday situations, discover local customs and experience daily life in Mexico.

Located in Cuernavaca, Morelos, approximately one hour south of Mexico City, Iguana Abroad's homestay option allows students to combine Spanish language study with a more immersive cultural experience.

Students who prefer to arrange their own accommodation can also join our Spanish immersion programs without booking a homestay.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Cuernavaca based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
