Course description

The Mathematics Camp is designed for students aged 10 to 15 who want to improve their mathematical skills while enjoying an exciting winter experience in the Swiss Alps. The programme combines 12 hours of mathematics lessons per week with five ski sessions per week, offering the perfect balance between academic development and outdoor activities. Students can strengthen their mathematical foundations, work on school topics and prepare for exams while developing their skiing skills on the Alpine slopes.

Mathematics lessons are taught in small groups of approximately 8 students, allowing teachers to adapt their teaching methods to individual needs and learning levels. Classes are conducted in English or German and use motivating, interactive approaches to make mathematics more accessible and enjoyable. Through games, practical exercises and personalised support, students review mathematical concepts learned at school, develop problem-solving skills and gain confidence in their abilities. The programme welcomes students with different levels of mathematical proficiency, from those who struggle with the subject to those who want to strengthen their existing knowledge.

The ski programme is suitable for students who want to develop their skiing abilities while enjoying the spectacular mountain scenery of the St. Bernard region. With five ski sessions per week, participants can practise their technique and enjoy the excitement of winter sports. The programme also includes full-board accommodation, three meals a day plus snacks, teaching materials, excursions, recreational activities and 24-hour supervision.
