Course description

Our Standard Course guarantees a dramatic boost to your confidence in a foreign language, with focused teaching in all 4 skill areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing with 20 lessons per week.

The learning journey continues as soon as classes finish! With our comprehensive leisure programme students have the opportunity to really discover their chosen destination. A two-week language course generally includes a big variety of activities plus at least 1 full-day excursion and 2 half-day excursions (see table below for more details). Of course, students are also given some free time to socialise in the afternoons and evenings!

Some of the activities included in the Leisure Program include Sports e.g. beach volleyball, football, Zumba, fitness etc., pool activities, Welcome Party: Get to know your classmates & teachers, barbecue, karaoke, international school parties and many more activities available for a small surcharge.

Arrival/departure at the airport of Malta (MLA) is possible at any time on regular arrival/departure date.

Students staying at a homestay enjoy total immersion in their chosen language and culture. By staying
with locals, students get to discover the customs and idioms of their destination from the word go, sampling
authentic local cooking and uncovering how the locals really live.

Learning continues when lessons finish. Our friendly homestays are experienced in hosting international
students and play an integral part in their learning experience. Rooms are always shared with other fellow students of the same gender.

Depending on the location, host families may be located outside of the town centre, meaning students
get to know parts of their destination which usually remain undiscovered by tourists. Many, but not all homestays offer Wi-Fi Internet. Where unavailable students can take advantage of internet cafés in the local area.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to St Julian's based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
