Course description

Our friLingue Open Tennis Camp in the beautiful Saint-Bernard Valley (canton of Valais) offers a unique and unforgettable experience in the heart of the Swiss Alps, where language learning meets exciting tennis training. Surrounded by majestic mountain scenery, fresh alpine air, and a welcoming community, this camp is perfect for children and teenagers who want to improve both their linguistic and sporting skills.

During the week, participants enjoy 15 hours of language lessons in small groups, carefully organised according to level. Lessons are interactive, practical, and focused on communication, with enthusiastic teachers using modern methods to build confidence and motivate students. In addition to language learning, the camp includes 6 hours of tennis coaching per week with experienced coaches who help each camper develop technique, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning in a fun and supportive environment.

In the afternoons and some evenings, students take part in tennis training sessions, challenges, and matches, as well as relaxing and social activities such as themed evenings and even a Friday night disco, creating a balanced and enjoyable programme. On rare rainy days, tennis training is held indoors at a nearby tennis club with transport provided.

The camp takes place in a comfortable youth-friendly accommodation, offering shared rooms, spacious common areas, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages social interaction. Participants enjoy homemade full board, ensuring balanced and nutritious meals throughout their stay.

Liddes – Saint-Bernard is a peaceful, safe, and inspiring location, ideal for children’s and teenagers’ camps. Nestled in the Alps, it provides a calm environment far from city life while remaining easily accessible from major Swiss cities. An accompanied train transfer from Zurich is also available for added convenience.
