Braunwald Language Camp
In our newest friLingue camp you will learn English, French or German in small groups of 6 participants.
During 15 hours per week, we study French, English or German. In the afternoon, we explore the surroundings together, go on an action-packed excursion or organise exciting workshops - and there's no shortage of fun!
After an intensive long day, we have a delicious homemade dinner from our typical friLingue cuisine. Then we continue with the evening programme, where we really go all out again.
Braunwald - the sunny terrace of the Glarnerland - ideal for learning French, German or English.
The camp in Braunwald takes place in our Adrenalin Backpacker Hostel. Here we have plenty of space: three large terraces, single, double, 4-bed, 6-bed and multi-bed rooms and a bar with syrup and other non-alcoholic delicacies! There's also a table football table and a pool table.
Braunwald is car-free and lies on a sunny terrace high above the sea of fog. The resort can be reached by car from Zurich in just over an hour. Or you can take the accompanied train from Zurich HB, leaving on Sunday afternoon.

The classed were good and i liked the teacher. The housing could use some maintenance but overall it was ok. Activities and location were ok.
Show details » Read more...The class was size was small and that way I received individual support. The English teachers were not native speakers as promised in the leaflet. But they tried their best. Some comments made by the teachers in class were not child appropriate, i.e. commenting about her period. The location was amazing and recommended to everybody.
The walk to the Oberblegisee, laser tag, gym and painting were all fun activities and the children loved it. But the after lunch break was far too long since the kids had to waste time for over three hours.
Housing was good and the food was excellent and had a good variety.
Overall an interesting experience. Thank you!!
