Course description

The Intensive course is for students who want to maximize their immersion experience by combining morning Spanish classes, afternoon cultural activities around Quito, and a homestay experience with an Ecuadorian family. The morning classes focus heavily on communication skills and grammatical topics, stressing all different domains of language learning. Over our 20 years of teaching Spanish in Quito, we have developed our own course materials which we constantly update and adapt to the individual student's needs. After class is over, students will take a quick break for lunch, then depart with a teacher for an afternoon field trip. The goal of these activties is to give the student ample time to practice Spanish, learn the culture of Ecuador, and explore the city of Quito. Their teacher will be their guide, imparting invaluable lessons in both the language and the culture. After the afternoon activity, the student will return home to eat with their family and enjoy a relaxing evening . Throughout the entire course, the student will be completely immersed in native Spanish.

Each week includes:
- 20 hours of classes:
- 10 hours of cultural activities (all expenses and transportation paid)
- 7 nights of homestay, morning and evening meals (if you choose this option)
