The city of Fullerton is located in northern Orange County in the state of California. It was founded in 1887 by George and Edward Amerige. The area was originally a very agricultural area home to a variety of citrus groves. Today the city is home to the California State University, Fullerton. Take time to visit the Fullerton Museum Center where a variety of exhibits in the areas of history, science and art are on display throughout the year. Stroll through the Farmers’ Market on Wednesday mornings. It is the oldest Farmers’ Market in Orange County and offers patrons a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers. The city is home to 45 city parks, making it easy for visitors to get outside and enjoy the typically mild weather.
