Standard Italian course: For students who are planning to visit our region and/or Italy for the first time. Classes are held in the morning, to give you free afternoon time for excursions, trips and other visits. You can organize your free time by yourself, or ask for the help of the tour operator cooperating with LinguaMia.
The course starts at 9.00 a.m. ends at 13:00 a.m. with a break in the mid morning. Each student will be assigned to an homogenous class based on his knowledge of the Italian language.
Our teaching method is based on the following objectives:
Grammar: We usually start our classes with grammar lessons for about an hour and a half to take advantage of your high level of concentration. We then carry on with the main aspects of the Italian language depending on your level (and interest).
Reading: After the intense grammar sessuion, we usually carry on with a more relaxing hour of reading. Italian is difficult to pronounce and this is why we insist that a correct pronunciation adds value to your knowledge.
Conversation: This is the funniest hour of the class, aimed at preparing students for their afternoon excursions: visiting a museum, or a national park, or just go shopping. It’s better to be prepared for any of therse events and that’s why in our classes you will learn some of the most common daily expressions and phrases.
Textbooks and a variety of other materials are used in instruction, including role-playing, newspapers, magazines and other materials.
