Ever since its founding by Caesar Augustus – after whom it was named, Augsburg has stood at the intersection of some of the most important trade and travel routes on the Continent. The home town of the Holbein dynasty, the Mozart family and the poet Bertolt Brecht is one of the oldest and most magnificent Bavarian cities. Modern Augsburg is very popular among the young: The university city offers a wide range of distractions and due to its location many attractive places like Munich or the famous
castle Neuschwanstein of King Ludwig II.<br><br>
Instruction focuses on communicative skills and is based on improving the listening and speaking proficiency. However, vocabulary and grammar exercises are mandatory. Another focus lies on German geography, history, politics, etc. Tuition always takes place in the mornings.<br><br>
