The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
In this course, you learn survival Japanese that is necessary during your stay so that you will be able to communicate well with native Japanese people and build a good relationship. Survival Japanese for shopping, getting a discount, ordering food, asking for directions, booking a table, calling, and so on. You not only learn the Japanese language but use it in a real situation to improve your skills.

Class schedule may change depending on availability and season.
Absolute beginner Elementary
You will take a placement test on your first day to determine your class level. You may also take this test before your arrival in Oita.
18 years old and older
30 years old (25 in the summer)
A certificate of completion will be issued at the end of the course.
