Course description

Our friLingue Open Tennis Camp in the stunning Saint-Bernard Valley, in the canton of Valais, combines language learning with dynamic tennis training in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, green valleys, and fresh alpine air, this camp provides an unforgettable experience for young tennis enthusiasts aged 10–15.

Each week includes 15 hours of language classes in small groups, carefully organized according to language level. Lessons are interactive and communication-focused, helping participants build confidence in real-world language use.

After language classes in the morning, afternoons and some evenings are dedicated to tennis training, challenges, and matches with experienced coaches who speak English during training sessions. Players work on skills such as serve, return, movement, tactics, and gameplay, while having lots of fun on the court

The camp takes place in a comfortable youth-friendly accommodation, offering shared rooms, spacious common areas, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages social interaction. Participants enjoy homemade full board, ensuring balanced and nutritious meals throughout their stay.

Liddes – Saint-Bernard is a peaceful, safe, and inspiring location, ideal for children’s and teenagers’ camps. Nestled in the Alps, it provides a calm environment far from city life while remaining easily accessible from major Swiss cities. An accompanied train transfer from Zurich is also available for added convenience.

The friLingue Open Tennis Camp includes:
- 15 hours of language classes per week in small groups (average 6 students)
- Daily tennis training and match play with experienced coaches
- young, highly motivated teachers
- communication and practical language usage at the core of the syllabus;
- small class sizes (6 students in average) so that each student can be helped individually.
- Our teachers use modern methods such as role play, theater, games and audiovisual tools. The focus lies on Communication skills and modern language usage.

Transfer from/to Zurich (Arrival between 10.00 and 16.00 and Departure between 12am and 6pm) - 150CHF each way
Transfers on Sunday outside theses hours - 400 CHF each way
Transfers any time between Monday and Saturday - 500 CHF each way
