Course description

Live the English language in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Join our English Camp in the beautiful Schwarzsee and learn English in a natural, fun, and immersive way. With small group classes and 100% English from morning to evening, you will improve your skills quickly while enjoying an unforgettable international experience.

Take part in 20 English lessons per week focused on communication, vocabulary, and pronunciation, combined with exciting outdoor activities, mountain adventures, lakeside fun, sports, workshops, and cozy campfire nights.

More than just a language course, this is a summer full of learning, friendships, and memories. Secure your spot and experience English like never before.

Includes:
- 20 language lessons (15 hours) per week
- young, highly motivated teachers
- communication and practical language usage at the core of the syllabus;
- small class sizes (6 students in average) so that each student can be helped individually.
- Our teachers use modern methods such as role play, theater, games and audiovisual tools. The focus lies on Communication skills and modern language usage.

Schwarzsee Summer Camps offer an exciting and unforgettable experience in the heart of the Swiss Pre-Alps. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and the beautiful Schwarzsee lake, students can combine language learning, outdoor adventures and summer sports while making international friends and developing confidence and independence.

During the summer season, students can choose from three programmes: Bilingual Camp, Intensive Bilingual Camp and English Camp. Whether improving their language skills, making faster progress through intensive lessons or simply enjoying an action-packed summer experience, students benefit from a friendly, international and supportive environment.

Based in the picturesque Schwarzsee region, the camp offers full-board accommodation, a wide range of sports and recreational activities, excursions, workshops and evening entertainment. From enjoying the lake and exploring the surrounding mountains to taking part in team games, creative activities and social events, students experience an exciting programme both in and out of the classroom. With experienced staff and a varied schedule, Schwarzsee Summer Camps provide the perfect combination of language learning, outdoor adventure, friendship and fun in Switzerland.

The Schwarzsee campus offers modern furnished rooms, a large living room and spacious classrooms.

Just next to the beautiful wooden architecture, a large sports complex invites you to let off some steam. In addition to an indoor gym, there are several beach volleyball, football, basketball courts, a climbing wall and a lawn for a variety of games and activities. You can also play table tennis, table football or billiards.

The pretty village of Schwarzsee is only a 10 minute walk from the campus. The lake is only 300m from the accommodation, so a jump in the cool, fresh water is not to be missed!

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged Fr. 250 when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Schwarzsee based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
