This course is intended for general use and is aimed at people who want to learn quickly and improve their communication skills. You do not need to have any previous knowledge of the Spanish language to start studying at WAYRA.

At Intercultura , we strive to give our students a true understanding and feeling for the Spanish Language. We believe in the communicative approach and that total immersion is the most effective for learning Spanish quickly.

Besides our Spanish Immersion Group Classes Intercultura Language School also offers private or semi-privated classes. You can take single lessons only or add for example one or more private lesson (1 hour a day) to your general group class.

If you need a more personalized instruction we recommend to take individual classes, WAYRA gives you the opportunaty to sign up for 4 hours of private classes per day. You will work on grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary and will also focus on reading, writing, speaking and listening.

The Intensive course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay. The courses focus heavily on speaking and communication skills: the morning consists of 4 lessons in communication skills, while the afternoon consists of 2 lessons in special topics.

DESCRIPTION In our Group Course of 20 lessons, students will develop language skills in an interactive group setting. The small class sizes ensure personalized attention from the professor in a relaxed and comfortable environment, allowing students to be fully immersed in the Spanish language.

This combination course includes a weekly total of 30 hours - 20 hours of group classes and 10 hours of private classes. This combination allows for a more rapid and effective fluency development and is the best option for students looking to learn Spanish as fast as possible.

Combine language learning with the thrill of the ocean in our Spanish & Surf program. Enjoy 20 Spanish lessons per week in the mornings, led by experienced native teachers who create a dynamic, engaging, and effective learning environment.

We offer not only a friendly atmosphere and learning environment for individual Spanish learners but also for parents who are travelling with their children, facilitating your family Spanish language vacation. Spanish Programs for kids and teens: Parents have the option to participate in our adult group classes, and arrange for their children to take Intercultura's customized Spanish group activities program for children and/or teenagers.

SPANISH ADVENTURE AND LEADERSHIP CAMP is an all-inclusive Spanish and Culture Immersion Program designed for High School students aged 14 to 18. This program runs for 2 weeks every summer at our Heredia City & Sámara Beach campus, one week at each location.
