Guanajuato is the capital city of its namesake state and is located in central Mexico. It is a beautiful mountain city, and is known as the “place of frogs” which has become the town’s official mascot. The town was originally settled as a silver mining camp that was converted into an ornately designed city full of beautiful architecture and a somewhat wealthy lifestyle.
