International House Xi'an is a member of International House World Organization, one of the largest and oldest groups of language schools worldwide. IH Xi'an is a center of Chinese as a Foreign Language studies and teacher training. In addition to Chinese language lessons, the school offers culture courses like Tai Ji, calligraphy, and Chinese cooking. Excursions and Chinese-themed evenings are also part of the program. Xi'an enjoys equal fame with Athens, Cairo, and Rome as one of the four major ancient civilization capitals, and students will have many opportunities to learn about ancient and modern Chinese culture.
