Institute of Intensive English: Hawaii General English (IEP) - 20 Students require an F1 Student Visa (recommended for studying 3 or more months). Students study in three classes each day. Flexible curriculum to best serve each student. Each class will match the students level in the particular skill. Class 1: Multi Skills: a multi-skilled communication class that offers a full range of English skills such as Conversation, Listening, Reading, Grammar, Pronunciation, and more. Class 2: Grammar Class: an interactive grammar class using the highly recognized Azar Grammar Book series to help build, or refine grammar skills. Class 3: Listening/Speaking Class: a class focused on creating group, pair, and individual speaking opportunities, as well as listening exercises. Students who are 400 level or above can qualify to take Academic TOEFL, Academic English or other electives. Students enrolled in the IEP program also attend classes Mondays 9am-1pm. The Monday Intensive Classes are designed to provide students with additional reading and vocabulary, as well as skills from several elective classes. Our English-only policy at the school ensures that students gain confidence in English communication skills. It's real English, real fun! <br> We offer exciting English plus Activity programs for children between the ages of 6-11 years old in the Kid Short Term English Program (K-STEP). Students have three hours of high-quality lessons at our school, and different fun activities and trips around Hawaii every school day. Students may join from one week to six weeks. Snacks are included, but students must bring their own lunch. <br> Activities may include: Games at the Park, Diamond Head Hike, Sea Life Park, Waikiki Ocean Fun, Learn Hawaiian Nature Art in Waimanalo, Chuck E.
