Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon. Institut Linguistique Adenet: Montpellier Intensive French The Intensive French course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction and 10 lessons of oral instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. The 10 lessons of oral instruction occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after Standard classes. Institut Linguistique Adenet: Montpellier DELF/DALF Exam Preparation The DELF/DALF Exams Course prepares on three different levels for the DELF B1, DELF B2 and DALF C1 exam. The French language courses consists of the Standard Course + 60 additional lessons special exams training over the last 6 weeks prior to the exam. Students staying for more than 6 weeks (recommended stay for the preparation is 8 to 12 weeks) start in the 30 lessons Intensive Course which also covers all aspects of the exam. The preparation for DELF A1 and DELF A2 takes place in the Intensive Course, which covers all aspects of these exams. DALF C2 can be prepared in the Combination Course. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon.
