The General English curriculum at Gold Coast Learning Centre is designed to meet the social and English language needs of our learners. Since the needs of different overseas students vary considerably, the curriculum has a modular layout to cater, as far as possible, to your specific needs.
There are 3 components to our General English Course: the Speaking Focus, Core Class and Customised Options. You have an option of studying 5 or 4 hours a day.
This is an attractive option for students who wish to enrol for up to 50 weeks. At GCLC students benefit from a great nationality mix, free support classes (up to 3 hours a week) and excellent student services.

Cambridge Exam Preparation - FCE (First Cirtificate in English)
Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses at Gold Coast Learning Centre are held over a 12-week period and are designed for students at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced levels of English.
These Gold Coast Learning Centre Cambridge courses prepare students for the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) Examination and/or Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) Examination. These examinations have a high level of international recognition for both further education and employment purposes.
The Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses feature intensive exam practice with course-specific materials and experienced, qualified teachers.
Students must be at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level English to enrol in these courses.
The Exam dates are on October 8th and December 6th.
