FLS Marymount College CampusOur ESL lessons are held on the intimate, friendly campus of Marymount College overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Participants will enjoy accommodations at modern townhouse-style dormitories. Each townhouse includes its own living room and kitchen. A free shuttle service provides easy access from campus to the residence facilities and nearby shopping destinations.<br><br>

FLS: Marymount CollegeActing Camp for Ages 15+ (3 weeks)Take a journey to Hollywood, the home of the stars, and pursue your acting dreams in Marymount College's summer acting camp! This three week program on the beautiful campus of Marymount College provides an ideal setting to work on your acting style with expert teachers from Los Angeles’ unmatched acting community. You’ll join students from around the world to hone your skills with practice in enunciation, movement exercise, character analysis, improvisation, developing a character, and reacting to other characters in a scene.<br><br>
Our program includes daily acting workshops, tours of Hollywood and Universal Studios, a behind-the-scenes tour of a local playhouse, and two live productions of theater in Los Angeles!<br><br>
Each day you'll increase your English vocabulary and fluency with communication-based ESL classes taught by highly qualified instructors.<br><br>
We’ll wrap up the program with your live performance recorded on DVD to make the perfect souvenir!<br><br>

FLS: Marymount CollegeCinema Camp for Ages 16+ (3 weeks)This program introduces participants to the exciting process of creating a short film. Teachers have included Columbia University instructors and directors and technicians who’ve worked on major Hollywood productions, including projects with George Lucas and Ray Liotta. Hollywood insiders teach students how to write a short screenplay and draw storyboards. Participants also learn basic camera moves and improve their skills with ‘on location’ shooting.<br><br>
FLS Cinema Camp Students at Universal StudiosAfter the shoot, students help edit and add effects to their film and then present their work to other students in a movie showcase. Students also experience a behind-the-scenes look at the film industry with visits to major movie studios and other fascinating sites related to the entertainment business.<br><br>
The Marymount Cinema Camp is enhanced with 18 lessons of ESL instruction each week taught by engaging instructors, or substitute a fascinating class in film history taught by an expert in the subject.<br><br>
Finally, students will enjoy a tour of Hollywood and may even see a movie star at the famous Hollywood & Highland complex—home of the Academy Awards!<br><br>
