The Certificate in Advanced English is open to students with an advanced level of English who wish to prepare for the CAE examination, given after the final week of the course. Upon enrollment in this course, each student will be asked to complete a pre-departure exam provided by ELC and return it to ELC. This test will allow ELC to evaluate the student’s readiness for the CAE course prior to their departure for the United States. After arriving at ELC, the student must take and pass a similar exam in order to participate in this course.
