When you learn the Spanish language in Flamingo Beach, you will acquire an intimate understanding of traditional Costa Rican culture, since the majority of our home stays are located in the nearby, typical Guanacasteco towns of Potrero, Brasilito, Lajas and Huacas. Flamingo Beach itself is a close-knit area of about 32,000 with surprisingly few tourists, so students can take advantage of an authentic, personalized experience with the language and culture of the country
