Intensive English Program
We offer intensive classes in Grammar, Pronunciation, Reading, Listening, Writing, Conversation and TOEFL preparation.

Grammar: (6 hours/week) Teaches basic through advanced English Grammar. This is useful for the TOEFL, American
universities or work related English.<br><br>
Reading Comprehension: (3 hours/week) Improves your comprehension, vocabulary for books, newspapers, etc.<br><br>
Writing Skills: (4 hours/week) Beginning students learn to write sentences and paragraphs. Intermediate and advanced
students learn to write convincing essays. Advanced students write creative stories, proposals, and more.<br><br>
Listening Comprehension : (2 hours/week) Learn to understand spoken English in conversational situations, television,
films and in the office or university classroom.<br><br>
Pronunciation: (4.5 hours/week). Learn the best pronunciation of American English. Learn proper pronunciation of specific
sounds and the intonation of different types of sentences.<br><br>
TOEFL: (2-3 hours/week) Learn how to take the test, practice with audio tapes, learn advanced grammar & vocabulary.<br><br>

Each student is given a placement test at the beginning of the program to determine their level of English. Conversa asks the student what their professional or academic goals are. This helps us to design the best program for each student.
