BCN Languages is a place where learning a language means much more than just studying it. It means getting to know a culture and opening our minds to different points of view, in a world where understanding diversity is becoming increasingly important. The BCN Languages team believes that languages are living entities, meant to be learned through experience and contact with them and the modern culture they represent. We strive to make sure that our teaching methodology reflects the thrill experienced at the discovery of a new language, a new reality.

The first BCN LANGUAGES school was founded in 1995 on Avenida Diagonal. Since then, we have seen the school grow thanks to the efforts of all members of the school team and to the trust that all our students placed in us year after year. We currently have 5 different centres in Barcelona and 1 in Majorca, which allow us to provide our students with a wider offer of timetables, courses, and groups as well as the convenience of finding a school near home or work.

Our school in Palma de Mallorca is a street, right across from a busy bus stop. It offers excellent facilities; modern and bright classrooms, a library to study with loan service of books and films in OV service, computers with free Internet access and virtual campus BCN with extra material for the study of each language. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

“Die Akademie” language school was born in 1998. “Die Akademie” is an international school with students from around the world. “Die Akademie” is located in Palma’s historic center and is very near to the emblematic Palma Cathedral. In Amongst coffee shops and culturally interesting buildings, the city center offers historic charm, such as our academy that is located in a XVI century building. Generally, the academy teachers are native speakers and they have years of experience teaching languages. Thanks to the fact that our teachers base their lessons on the “superlearning” method, the learning process is quicker, more pleasant, and more effective. The “superlearning” method is designed for learning in a relaxed and peaceful way, without pressure and in a stress-free atmosphere; this helps us to concentrate better and to record knowledge in our long-term memory. This is the most important aspect of our teacher´s teaching method. The lessons are focused on daily life aspects: job, studies, hobies, etc., but also, in some cases, the lessons are introduced to the students as a fun way of learning a new language. With the help of classical music and melodic sentences, the knowledge is repeated and memorized. This relaxing moment allows us to learn in an effective and quick way.

The School welcomes all those who wish to learn or improve their level of Spanish and offers the guarantee and certification of excellence and quality that only the University of Salamanca can provide. The School is located in the very centre of Palma, five minutes from the intermodal station (rail, metro, bus). Our school in Mallorca is in Avinguda Alemanya, 3 (next to the Court). We are in the city center and most of the bus lines stop right in front of the school. We offer modern, well-light and well-equipped facilities. In our library, you can find graded readers and films in O.V and you can also access to the Internet. We offer a wide range of timetables so that all of our students can choose when to come to class. We are open Monday to Friday from 9.15 to 22.00 and Saturdays from 9.15 to 14.00. We are in the city centre, well connected with public transport (buses, metro, taxis, bicipalma…) Bus lines: 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15, 25, 41, 46.
