Fukuoka is the largest city in Kyushu Japan. Originally the site was home to two different towns, Fukuoka and Hakata. Students studying Japanese courses in Fukuoka will be amazed to know that Fukuoka has previously been voted one of the world’s most livable cities, due to the fact that it incorporates many green spaces into its metropolitan setting.
