Strasbourg is located in the Alsace region in the north eastern part of France along the border of France and Germany. The city is an interesting mix of the two countries and has been ruled by one or the other over the city’s history. Strasbourg plays an important role in European politics as it is the home of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe.
