In the mid-19th century, both the Clechet flour mill and the Paccard Bell Foundry became principal industrial influences in Annecy le Vieux. La Savoyarde, one of the world’s largest bells in the world, was cast at the Paccard Bell Foundry in Annecy le Vieux.
