Haywards Heath is a town located in the Mid Sussex District of West Sussex, England. It is approximately 36 miles south of London and 12 miles north of Brighton. Many of the residents of Haywards Heath commute into London or Brighton for work. The area really began to develop after the arrival of the railroad in 1841.
