To learn more about the town of Fleetwood and its history, be sure to visit the Fleetwood Museum. The museum set on the edge of the River Wyre. The museum gives visitors a look into the harsh life of a fisherman. Students will likely enjoy spending a great deal of time on Fleetwood Beach. Visitors can stroll along the promenade and enjoy the view over the Morecambe Bay. The nearby Fleetwood Market is a great place to shop. This traditional market hosts over 250 stalls where visitors can find a variety of treasures. The seafront Marine Hall hosts a number of events throughout the year including live music, dance and drama. Another unique excursion is a trip to Farmer Parrs.
